YONA Beach Club Phuket – Tickets, prices & how to get there
YONA Beach Club is a floating beach club off Phuket's coast and is reached by shuttle boat. Its several levels include a 22-meter infinity pool, pool beds, private cabanas, bars and a restaurant.
The atmosphere changes noticeably with the time of day. Mornings are also open to families, while the afternoon is adults-only and puts more focus on music, DJs and the scene around the pool. Before booking, the main points to consider are the seasonal departure pier, ticket prices and the differences between the seating areas.
What makes YONA Beach Club different
The main difference from other beach clubs in Phuket is its location on the water. The entire visit takes place on a floating platform. Depending on the area you book, you can stay closer to the activity around the pool or choose a more secluded spot with sea views.
On our visit, the afternoon changed noticeably as it went on. After arriving by shuttle boat, we first had time to explore the different levels, eat and use the pool. Later, the music and DJ sets became more prominent and sunset became the focus toward the end of the visit.
There is no direct beach access and guests cannot swim in the sea around the platform. If you are looking for a beach day with direct access to the water, this is an important distinction to keep in mind.
Morning Package or Afternoon Package?
The time of day at YONA affects more than the atmosphere. It also determines the age limit and how long you can stay. Before booking, it is worth deciding whether you want a quieter morning visit or a longer afternoon session with more music.
Morning Package
The Morning Package runs from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. The last check-in is at 12:00 pm and guests must leave the club by 2:00 pm. During this session, the pool, views and more relaxed pace are the main focus.
Children aged four and over are allowed on board and can use the pool under parental supervision. For families traveling with children, the Morning Package is therefore the relevant time slot.
The Morning Package may only be offered on selected days, so check the booking calendar for your date and the current opening hours.
Afternoon Package
The Afternoon Package runs from 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with the last check-in at 5:00 pm. DJs, music and the activity around the pool play a bigger role than in the morning. Depending on the day and scheduled events, the atmosphere can range from a relaxed afternoon to a much livelier evening.
Entry is limited to guests aged 20 and over. Younger visitors cannot join the Afternoon Package, even when traveling with their parents.
Special events can have different programs, ticket prices and booking conditions from a regular day.
YONA Beach Club tickets, prices and seating
YONA Beach Club offers different options based on the time of day, the included food and beverage credit and the type of seating. You can choose between individual passes and reserved areas for couples or groups.
Passes and seating
The Morning Pass currently costs 3,000 baht and includes 1,500 baht in food and beverage credit. A reserved seating area is not included with the pass. If you want a specific pool bed, sofa or private cabana, you need to book the corresponding area separately. The Kids Pass costs 1,500 baht and includes 500 baht in credit. Due to the age rules, children can only visit during the morning session.
The Day Pass costs 4,000 baht and includes 2,000 baht in credit. Women can also book a Ladies Pass for 2,000 baht with 1,000 baht in credit. Neither pass includes a reserved seating area. On days with a morning session, the Day Pass and Ladies Pass can be used from 9:30 am and remain valid until 9:30 pm. If you want a specific area, it is better to reserve it separately.

Pool beds, sofas and cabanas
For a longer visit, several reserved seating areas are available. Pool beds are closer to the infinity pool, while sofas and other seating are spread across different levels depending on the category. Private cabanas offer more room and are available for different group sizes depending on the category.
Prices vary by time of day, location and the size of the reserved area. For groups, it is worth comparing not only the total price but also the number of included places, the maximum group size and the food and beverage credit.
How does the food and beverage credit work?
Each ticket or reserved seating category includes a set amount of credit for food and drinks. Any amount above the included credit is charged separately.
The credit is valid only on the day of your booking. For reserved seating, it is also tied to that specific area. Under the current terms, any unused balance is not refunded.
DJs and events at YONA Beach Club
Music and changing DJs are most prominent during the afternoon session. The atmosphere is generally livelier around the infinity pool, while the upper levels offer additional seating with views of the sea and coastline.
Selected dates feature special events with their own programs. Crowd levels, ticket prices and entry conditions can then differ from a regular day. Check the events calendar to see what is scheduled for your date.
Food and drinks at YONA Beach Club
The menu combines Asian and Mediterranean influences. Options include fish and seafood, sushi, salads, pasta, risotto and pizza, along with desserts and separately marked vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Kitchen hours during the Morning Package differ slightly from the afternoon schedule. According to the current information, breakfast items and drinks are served from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The full menu is available from 11:00 am and the last food order for the Morning Package is at 1:00 pm. If you want to have lunch during the Morning Package, keep these times in mind.
The drinks menu includes classic and signature cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, mocktails, wine and Champagne. The food and beverage credit included with your ticket or reserved area can be used toward these orders.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed on board. If you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, it is still best to discuss your options with the staff before ordering, even though vegetarian and vegan dishes are marked on the menu.
YONA Beach Club location and shuttle boat transfer
YONA Beach Club moves between two seasonal locations during the year. Depending on the season, your visit starts at either Royal Phuket Marina or Patong Boat Pier. For planning, the key detail is not only where your hotel is located but which departure pier applies to your booked date.

Royal Phuket Marina
During the low season, shuttle boats depart from Royal Phuket Marina on Phuket's east coast. The marina is north of Phuket Town and is relatively easy to reach from the north of the island as well as Bangtao and Laguna.
If you are staying in Patong, Kata or Karon, allow more time for the drive depending on traffic. For navigation, use Royal Phuket Marina or the exact check-in area provided by YONA.
Patong Boat Pier

Shuttle boat and check-in
The shuttle boat transfer is included in the ticket price. According to the operator, boats usually run about every 20 minutes between the relevant pier and the beach club. The crossing takes around ten minutes.
Check-in closes well before the club itself. If you arrive too late at the meeting point, you may no longer be able to use your booking. Check the applicable check-in time and exact departure point in your booking confirmation.
Opening hours and best time to visit
Opening hours at YONA Beach Club depend on the seasonal location and day of the week. During the low season at Royal Phuket Marina, the club is currently open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the club opens at 2:00 pm, so a morning visit is only possible on selected days.
During the high season at Patong Boat Pier, the club is currently open daily from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. Events, weather conditions or operational changes can affect the schedule, so confirm the opening hours for your chosen date before booking.
For a quieter visit, choose a day with a morning session. If you want to experience the transition from daylight into the evening atmosphere, arrive in the afternoon well before the last check-in. Crowd levels also vary by weekday, season and special events.
Minimum age, dress code and practical tips
Different age limits apply depending on the session. The Morning Package is open to guests aged four and over, while the afternoon is limited to guests aged 20 and over. You may be asked to show ID at check-in to verify your age. The credit card used for the booking may also be checked.
YONA has a smart casual dress code. Swimwear can be worn for time by the pool, while sportswear and some very casual clothing do not meet the current requirements. If you are unsure, check the latest dress code before heading to the pier.
Sunscreen, sunglasses and your booking confirmation are useful to bring. Much of the club is outdoors, so sun, wind and short rain showers can affect the visit. Towels are provided on board and need to be returned before departure. Free lockers are available. A refundable 200 Baht deposit is currently required for the key.
YONA does not recommend the experience for pregnant guests or people over 70, although there is no blanket ban on entry. The club often continues to operate in rain. Whether a change of date or refund is possible depends on the booking and cancellation terms.
Is YONA Beach Club worth it?
For us, YONA feels less like a conventional beach club and more like a self-contained experience on the water. What worked particularly well on our visit was the shift from a relaxed afternoon by the pool to more music and the later evening atmosphere. The shuttle boat ride and offshore setting make the visit clearly different from a day at a beach club on land.
The Morning Package is better suited to families and a quieter visit. In the afternoon, YONA is adults-only and puts more emphasis on the pool, DJ sets, events and sunset on the water.
The seasonal departure pier, ticket price, included food and beverage credit and seating choice also matter when deciding what to book. For groups and a longer visit, a reserved area is usually the more comfortable option. A Day Pass or Ladies Pass makes more sense if a fixed seat is not important.
