Phuket
PHUKET
White sandy beaches, crystal clear water, the spectacular backdrop of huge limestone cliffs and the endless hospitality of the locals transform Thailand's largest island into a tropical holiday paradise. Relax on the gorgeous sandy beaches of the west coast and go cycling or hiking along the tropical jungle landscapes and waterfalls in the island's interior. Are you looking for entertainment and a lively nightlife? Then the popular Patong Beach is the place to be. Karon and Kata beaches are much quieter, but offer a wide range of water sports. When dusk falls, you can end the day in one of the many beach bars on Surin Beach. At Bangtao Beach you will find both simple beach bungalows and luxurious 5-star hotels. The beach is ideal for those who don't want a lot of hustle and bustle, but still appreciate a couple of restaurants and bars.

Phuket also has a lot to offer for those interested in culture: Wat Chalong is the largest temple complex on the island and has a beautiful chedi with typical southern Thai influences. The Big Buddha, a 45-metre-high sitting Buddha, is enthroned in the centre of the island of Phuket, from whose foot you have a magnificent view over the island and sea.
Phuket Town, the capital of the province, is in itself a unique attraction that has retained its incomparable charm despite the flourishing tourism of recent decades.

Accordingly, the old town reflects the diversity of the island and charms visitors with its picturesque Sino-Portuguese-style buildings and small Chinese shrines. Immerse yourself in typical southern Thai life and visit the beautiful Thalang Road. Every Sunday, it is transformed into a sea of lights with small stalls selling local delicacies, souvenirs as well as musical and artistic performances. Or explore Phuket Town on your own. Climb the largest hill in the region along the countless groups of macaque monkeys and enjoy the view over the whole town from a great viewing platform. For an extra dose of thrills, visit the Hanuman World Phuket Adventure Park or the International Wake Park.
Whether for young or old, groups or solo travellers – the pearl of the Andaman Sea offers everything your heart desires.

Phang Nga
PHANG NGA
The almost untouched natural paradise of Phang Nga gives you the opportunity to experience the original Thailand and transports you to a completely different world in the blink of an eye. Phang Nga is about 800 km away from the capital Bangkok and can easily be reached by plane or bus. But a day trip from Phuket or Krabi is also possible, where you can easily discover part of the Phang Nga coast in a few hours. Both on the coast and inland, the climate is wonderfully tropical. However, a trip outside the main season is also recommended, as the heat is not quite as intense, the showers are usually short and the general travel costs are much lower. Lush green nature, impressive mountains, mangrove forests and picturesque small villages characterise the image of Phang Nga. In addition, numerous dripstone caves, waterfalls and viewpoints invite you to explore.

Nature lovers can look forward to a special spectacle: between November and February, the turtles lay their eggs on both sides of the Pak Phra Channel – a truly inspiring spectacle. You can also learn a lot about the history of the Thai natives in Phang Nga. The ancient stone drawings in Wat Narai Nikayaram are just one example. A particularly fascinating site is the ancient town of Ban Thung Tuk, where you will find the ruins of Thailand's first settlers. The extensive national parks along the Andaman Sea invite you to take long boat trips through the small island groups. This perfectly showcases the rocks jutting out of the water and the country's rich flora and fauna. Especially the completely untouched Similan Islands, which together with two other islands form the Mu-Ko-Similan National Park, embody this "pure nature" atmosphere. Here you can still find the truly unspoilt beaches of Thailand. Those who prefer an active holiday can let themselves be enchanted by the unique underwater world while snorkelling or diving, or let their energies run free while rafting, trekking, hiking, climbing, golfing and fishing. Afterwards, you can relax on the beach or enjoy a traditional Thai massage.

With its long white sandy beach and crystal clear turquoise waters, Chaweng Beach is the ideal place for the island's famous parties. It is ideal for swimming and water sports, offers beautiful accommodation and numerous restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food. If you prefer a place that is not so heavily frequented by tourists but still has a lively atmosphere, Lamai Beach is the place for you. Especially at the southern end of the beach, you can discover numerous restaurants, bars, hotels and waterfalls in a quiet and less crowded atmosphere. Another highlight is Silver Beach. A small hidden gem that should be visited for those who are seeking an outmost restful and relaxed stay. In this context, Bophut Beach, in the north of the island, is also recommended. Here you will find Fisherman's Village with its many restaurants and rustic shops.

You should also not miss the culture and rich history of Koh Samui: The Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai) with its 12-metre high Buddha statue is located on a small island connected to Koh Samui by a bridge. In the evening, it offers a spectacular view of the sunset. The colourful Thai-Chinese style temple Wat Plai Laem is known for its two famous statues Guanyin and Fat. Guanyin represents the Chinese goddess of mercy and compassion. Fat, as a laughing Chinese Buddha, symbolises wealth and prosperity. The entire temple complex is decorated with stunning buildings, sculptures and murals.

Koh Lipe
KOH LIPE
Located in the far south of Thailand near the Malaysian border, Koh Lipe is a small island with crystal-clear water, powdery white sand and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down from the moment you arrive. Often called “Thailand’s Maldives” the island enchants with untouched nature, vibrant marine life and a relaxed island vibe that’s hard to leave behind.

The three main beaches – each with its own unique charm – characterize the lifestyle around the island. At Pattaya Beach, life is vibrant. Soft sand, colorful longtail boats and small bars that invite you to linger in the evening. The Sunrise Beach is a quieter spot. Wide, open and peaceful – ideal for a barefoot stroll in the morning light as the sun slowly rises over the sea. Those looking for peace and quiet will find it at Sunset Beach. Hidden on the west side it’s an ideal spot to enjoy a sundowner while watching the glowing evening light.

Just offshore lies the Tarutao National Marine Park, home to countless coral reefs, tiny islands and sheltered bays. Snorkeling and diving are among the island’s top activities – often possible directly from the beach. Colorful fish, sea turtles and the occasional reef shark make every experience unforgettable. Despite its remote setting, the island has everything you need: Cozy resorts, beach bars with fairy lights, massages by the sea and international cuisine right by the water. The island’s Walking Street connects the beaches and brings a touch of energy to the island – always in harmony with its relaxed atmosphere.

PATTAYA
Once known mainly for its nightlife, Pattaya has evolved into a vibrant coastal city – with wide beaches, peaceful retreats and breathtaking sights.

Away from the better-known shores, a more relaxed rhythm unfolds – especially along Jomtien Beach, where the sea feels close, mornings pass slowly between the sand, shaded cafés and calm resort spaces. Further inland, soft hills, quiet temples and open viewpoints offer a fresh perspective over the bay.

The city’s contrasts reveal themselves gradually – whether walking through the hand-carved wood of the Sanctuary of Truth, visiting the golden Buddha of Wat Phra Yai or heading out by boat to nearby islands, where the sea glows in tropical tones. As evening falls, Pattaya remains pleasantly unhurried: rooftop bars, night markets and open-air restaurants bring a lightness to the city after dark.

Pattaya is no longer defined by a single image. It’s a place in transition – open, dynamic and full of character. Whether staying in a luxury beach resort or exploring the quieter corners along the coast, this is a side of Thailand that surprises and stays with you.
